Marooned - Poem
Seeking a Friendly Ship,
Waters of Silver Ripples,
And Beaches of Branchless Trees.
A Sun that Burns the Skin
Clouds that Embrace,
Parrots that Speak Bloody French,
God ! Am I going Insane
Is that a Damn ship out there
Will it hit the Damn Reef
Will my Dum Dog greet me
Dammit, it’s the bloody Spanish
But behind this Coconut Jungle
And Creepers of Blue Lilies
And Past that thorny hell bush
Is a Jungle of Great Trees
Trees of Giant Timber
A Jungle of Tamarinds
With a Saw from the old Wreck
Could I Build a Two Mast Ship
The Animal Revolution - Poem
Beasts of Lanka beasts of all lands
Think you not that it is strange
Your brothers and sisters are slaughtered
To feed the human race
Pigs and cows are killed by thousands
But are beaten first to make them soft
Though they call themselves very humane
They are a bad un-kindly lot
In its once pristine waters
Fish and other creatures swam wide
But they have put nets to divide us
And in them we all shall die
Birds of Lanka birds of all lands
You have been modified
You are now mere weaklings
Shall ye ever again fly
An animal revolution is needed
Start from every lake and tree
So that birds and beasts of all lands
Will forever and ever be free
Bring your strongest bring your bravest
But above all use your heads
With these cunning humans
One wrong move and you're dead
The birds are our proud airforce
And fish are our submarines
Land animals are our army
And the rest are the marines
We will win but never conquer
All we need is a free life
Unlike wicked humans
We don't want other beings to die

Wassily Kandinsky
Wassily Wassilyevich Kandinsky (1866-1944), was a Russian painter widely credited as the pioneer of abstract art. He felt that art should have no recognizable objects or forms, but rather should destroy reality in order to arrive at the underlying truth of existence. He called his spiritual desire for art “inner necessity”. Kandinsky studied law and economics at the University of Moscow, and was offered a professorship at the University of Dorpat, but he abandoned his career in 1896 at the age of 30, and went to Munich to study art. But before leaving Moscow, he saw an exhibit of paintings by Monet. It had a profound effect on him, and may have influenced his later venture into abstract art.
In 1896 Kandinsky settled in Munich, studying art at the Academy of Fine Arts. But he returned to Moscow in 1914. After the Russian Revolution he seemed to have been involved with Russian Marxist revolutionary Anotoly Lunacharsky, becoming an insider in the cultural administration. However because “his spiritual outlook was different to the argumentative materialism of Soviet society” he returned to Germany in 1920. There he taught art at the Bauhaus School until Hitler closed it down in 1933. He then moved to France producing some of his most prominent work until his death a few days before his 78th birthday.
Wassily Kandinsky was an early champion of abstract painting and believed that abstract art could be used to express the “inner life” of the artist. His favorite color was blue, and he believed that the circle was the most peaceful shape and represents the human soul.

Poem and Song
Wrote this poem many years ago, and later on it was turned into this song. The poem is given below, if you want to listen to the song please copy paste the link below in your browser: https://suno.com/s/HQPJCfQeAmVS0DKo
If you make a friend of Time
It wouldn't matter that you have no dime
For waves that break on the mangrove beach
Will pull your ship from that sinking reef
If the light house is afar
And a misty fog blocks the North Star
Follow the seagulls to the left
Or north or south which ever is best
A starfish near the beach
May swim away beyond your reach
But a crab that moves sideways
May even wish you better days
An oyster that pricks you feet
Could have a pearl on some distant beach
A raft that is blown to sea
Will reach the Island of Serendib

TRAPPED
This digital drawing tries to depict the dangers of technology particularly with AI. We no longer live on a planet with just one sun, there seem to be two suns one real and one artificial, with a surreal, complex and depressing landscape and sky. A man seems trapped in a triangle, and a vicious eye seems to be monitoring him from below. It seems obvious that soon if not already he will not be able to change his fate. The title of this drawing is: "Man trapped in technology of his own making".
